Something I think is weird about this film is the atmosphere for sure and the DNA that the dome has inside of it. What I mean by this is how the landscape is inside the dome where the volunteers go into to see what’s wrong. It is extremely colorful and has shapes and forms that are very unique. They form around the existing earth structure but eat away at it and forms its own nature. What I think is incredible is how the book talks in great detail about the color of the forms of the new landscape. This is the moss that covers everything. It has incredible neon colors that are so abstract to even imagine but very intense! The patterns that it creates and everything that it keeps inside of it is kind of gross but at the same time beautiful. It’s crazy because the new form that it creates is absolutely beautiful and very intrigue. The other crazy thing I think is weird is that this moss takes on the DNA of humans, and other living objects and kills it to make it a replica of what it killed. It is weird though how it takes a human and makes it into a moss like structure with branches and leaves and them it just sits there for eternity. Like it almost has no value or purpose. Everything seems to work together and in harmony which makes everything so pretty and elegant. It is however very strange how the moss and the DNA work together.

    Great points made in your blog! I agree with you on Annihilation being a strange story but it diffidently kept me turning the page.

The Night Circus Play In this play we see that there is love which is forbidden but also favored. These are the main points through the play. It all starts out with Celia and Marco who are tied in love and they have a challenge ahead of themselves. However there is a always a struggle to maintain that love throughout the play due to the both of them having to concentrating and not breaking the rules. So we see that there is a pattern between the two main characters in terms of love because they both want to be in love but the competitions and rules are keeping them from doing that. Interview with A Vampire

It is quite interesting to see in the beginning that there are only a couple of vampires and then there leads to be more and more throughout the journeys of each vampire. The interactions with each vampire are quite interesting because there seems to follow a pattern of death and travel with each one. That is pretty much death and deception. I say this because the first time we see it is when Louis and Claudia plan on killing Lestat. Why would they do this? It could be hatred toward Lestat for making her something she didn’t want to be. Another time we see this pattern is when Lestat comes back from the dead to kill them. This is number 2 for an attempt to kill because of spite possibly. The third time this happens is when Louise and Claudia move to another place but don’t like it. This time the pattern is to keep traveling. This continues on and on throughout the books.
